Runners Up in the Pacific Final .... well done to all!

More great news from the NIKE Cup!  ..... the lads in Melbourne have won their pool play on Saturday and have progressed through to the semi-final against Manly FC who are the New South Wales Champions.   Wishing them every success  .... give it heaps!

 Federation U15 Nike Cup:

Magic news! ... our Federation Under 15's have won the Northern Conference final for the NIKE Cup yesterday in Auckland.  This is an elimination series for the Manchester United Premier Cup to be held in the UK.
The team is now off to Melbourne for the Pacific Regional Final on March 23-25.
Many congratulations to Tony and the boys - we wish them well

Otumoetai Fed U/15's success:

Otumoetai Football Club will be WaiBOP Football’s representative at the Northern Regional Conference Finals for the U15 Manchester United Premier Cup to be held in Auckland on the weekend of 3-4 March.

Otumoetai won the right to represent WaiBOP after successfully navigating their way through a Regional Qualifying Tournament held at Porritt Stadium, Hamilton last Saturday.

Claudelands Rovers and Hamilton Wanderers were the other clubs involved in the regional qualifier, with all teams playing each other twice.

Otumoetai started the day tentatively with 1-1 draws against Wanderers and Claudelands. However, in the afternoon matches they hit their straps and comfortably defeated the two Hamilton clubs, recording a 5-1 win over Wanderers and 3-0 victory over Claudelands.

Coach Tony Chegwidden now has two weeks to put the final polish on his charges before the Northern Regional Conference Finals..... we wish them well.
