OFC committee has been working extremely hard over the off season to provide female football with the support to drive it forward in line with NZ football and WaiBOP. With the introduction of girls only leagues in 2016 and a full roll out across all age groups in 2017 we needed to make sure our female footballers had the support they needed. We have added to our existing volunteers this year and are dedicated to providing the best place to play football in the Bay. A full list of roles is below:
Now OFC is excited to advise the appointment of Scott Harrison as the 2017 Women's Premiership Coach!
Scott has recently moved down from Auckland with his family and has over 20 years coaching experience including 6 years coaching Fencibles United AFC's Women's Northern Premier League team!
Having his senior coaching qualifications and plenty of experience in coaching at junior and youth level as well as setting up his own private Football player development program tailored specifically for Female players, we feel that Scott and his assistants will provide our female football program with an extra edge this year!

!Play futsal in 2017
Junior and high-school leagues: Sunday afternoons at the ASB Arena, starting on the 12th of February 2017 and running for 8 weeks (no futsal 19th Feb).
To get involved simply follow these steps:
Step 1: Each individual player must register with the club by January 31st.
Step 2: Tell your outdoor coach/manager that you want to play futsal over summer and ask him/her to be involved. Coaches can email me with a list of players they would like to have in their team and I will register the team in the league. Each futsal team should aim to have at least 8 regular players.
Step 3: If you don't have a coach/manager/parent who wants to be involved, or if you don't have enough players for a complete team, don't worry as we will organise a team for you. Just make sure you complete Step 1!!
If you have any questions please contact our club Futsal Coordinator Keir Maddox (firstname.lastname@example.org)
