Important Changes to Senior 5-Aside Registrations
For this summer’s 5-aside season, we’ve made a few changes to how registrations work.
In past years, it has been really difficult to manage the draws after Christmas, with teams dropping out due to pre-season commitments, university, or just not showing up regularly. Because of that, we are now offering:
Term 4 only registration (Pre-Christmas)
Term 1 only registration (Post-Christmas)
Full Season (both terms) – only if you can commit to fielding a team across both terms
If you know your team won’t continue after the Christmas break (e.g. senior pre-season starts, uni, etc.), please select Term 4 only when registering.
We typically have a large waitlist, so we’d rather fill the draw with teams who will turn up each week. This helps keep the league fair and makes it much easier on our administrator.
2025 Senior 5-A-SIDE LEAGUE
THURSDAY League
Term 4, 2025
Term 1, 2026
Location: Fergusson Park
Cost:
Term 4 only (8 weeks): $250 per team
Term 1 only (6 weeks): $200 per team
Both Terms (14 weeks): $400 per team
Leagues & Times:
Mixed League (Competitive & Social): 6:00pm – 6:45pm
Men’s League (Competitive, Social & Very Social): 6:45pm onwards
No individual player entries – teams only
*NEW* FRIDAY League
⚠️ We are piloting a Friday night league. This league will only go ahead if we get at least 10 mens teams and 6 womens teams or more registered

**Otumoetai FC will endeavour to hold games every Thursday & Friday during the season. Please be aware this can be weather dependant and no refunds will be given for rained out games.**
