GRADE 11 & GRADE 12 PRE-ACADEMY

The OFC Development pathway provides opportunities for players in Grade 11 and Grade 12 to be selected in teams based on abilities, commitment and motivation.

U11-12 Pre Academy team players are identified during Term 1 by attending our Identification sessions and/or those attending the Term 1 Skill Development Programme. The group of Pre Academy players is then finalised at the start of March. Players not selected in Pre Academy teams but are committed and driven players will still have the oppertunity to train 2x per week. (once a week with the Skill Development programme and once with their Saturday football team.)

All U11 and U12 teams play their weekly games on Saturday mornings and are a stepping stone towards playing in our Federation Youth Development Programme in the coming years (U13+).

11th & 12th Grade Pre Academy Teams

Saturdays

Training - 2 Training session per week + Game

Pre-Academy teams are created for players who demonstrate a higher level of aspiration, ability, commitment, and ambition,  and interest in being in a more competitive and learning-focused environment.

During the season, players will have three weekly contacts: one session with our Academy Coaches, one with their team coach, and Saturday league games played with their Pre-Academy team. They will also take part in friendly matches arranged in both the pre-season and post-season periods (Including entry into our OFC Junior World Cup Festival).

All players selected for the Pre-Academy Programme will be considered for end-of-year tournaments.
